It was developed by David Zuckerman and Seth MacFarlane.January 31,1999 after the Super Bowl XXXIII, Family guy aired for the first time. In 2000, the show was canceled once and than was canceled once again in 2002.Reruns on Cartoon Network Adult Swim drew a interest in the series and Dvd sales increased. In 2005 Fox Broadcasting Company decided to put the show back on the air.
Family guy is about a strange family(Griffins) that lives in Quahog, Rhode Island. Peter Griffin is married to Lois and they have three children: Meg, Chris, and Stewie. They have many friends including Glen Quagmire, Cleveland and Loretta Brown, and Joe and Bonnie Swanson. The Griffin and their friends always end up in a Crazy situation and always have even odder solutions.
Peter Griffin is a Irish American Catholic, who has a Eastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island accent. He is working class man who tries to support his family. He often goes down to the local bar a drinks.
Lois is a stay at home mother and wife. She enjoys teaching piano. She comes from wealthy family.
Meg is the oldest of the three kids. She is made fun of a lot mainly due to her unpopularity.
Chris is the middle child who is overweight. He is very clueless most of the time due to his unintelligent.
Stewie is the baby . He has adult mannerisms . He has a English accent. He is always out trying to hurt someone.
Brian is a intelligent dog who walks on two legs, drinks martinis, smokes cigarettes and talks to humans. He acts more like a human but is still considered the family pet.
